Generate a personal access token to query this database from the MCP server (e.g. Claude Code/Desktop). Treat a token like a password — anyone with it can read your data.

Claude Desktop doesn't support adding a remote server with a custom header directly — either configure it in Claude Code first (Desktop can pick up servers from there), or use a local stdio-to-HTTP bridge like mcp-remote that injects the header for you.
Other MCP-compatible tools (Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) each have their own config format — check that tool's own MCP docs and adapt the URL/header above.
